MBGH 2018 Wellness & Health Benefit Conference

Positive Disruption

We had a great conference on August 22, 2108 with approximately 200 attendees coming together to network, learn, and share how to thrive in the disruptive world of wellness and health benefits.

We built on last year’s conference, putting innovation on steroids and focusing on disruption: doing things that make the old things obsolete. Disruption overturns the normal, conventional approaches and shakes up the marketplace. Rarely do disruptions come from incumbents. Incumbents often fall victim to thinking they won’t ever be obsolete; they don’t want to hear the bad news that what they have done forever isn’t working; and they don’t jump on the new bandwagon soon enough.

Disruption, regardless if you see it or feel it, is happening in wellness and health benefits. The conference helped wellness and benefit professionals not to fall prey to what happens to many incumbents! Attendees heard first hand from national and regional employers and experts about disruptions in wellness and health benefits that will fundamentally change health plans, well-being programming, health care delivery, pharmacy benefit management, and more!

Attendees walked away with a better understanding and appreciation for what you need to do to deliver positive business results as these disruptions take root.
